I have a boy. I have a lovely boy, I have a lovely boy who is currently throwing typey lovely kittens. I have a boy who is throwing lovely typey kittens who is available for open stud and is advertised as such on my website. I have a lonely boy.
I find it interesting that in the dog world, which I have my background in, breeders show off their stud dogs and their breeding females. They brag about wins and pups they have bred that have gone on to be big winners. Cat people don't do this. Why not? Why do cat breeders keep all of their information close to their chests and not share it? Why do they hide their studs away and keep their breeding programs hush hush? It confuses me as I thought we were in it for the love of the breed and the betterment of the breed.
Meanwhile I will continue to take my altered females down to keep my lonely boy company. I hate the fact that he will probably have to be desexed and moved on as my breeding program expands. I don't have room for two lonely boys. He is such a good looking friendly lad who loves Mummy cuddles and is a hit with the ladies. It breaks my heart!
Cin
and he is lovely Cin.
I dont know either Cindy, but what you say is very true.
He is a lovely boy and I hope he gets some 'work' and that you are able to keep him happy.
It would be a shame to desex him too early.
