I have not been keeping up on Devon Zone either, so don't worry. But it really is kismet that you just left me a message...Corey (black & white Devon) darted around my feet in the laundry room yesterday when I came in after shopping. They wait for me at that door and I have to actually push them out of the way every time I come home. They have been intent on getting into the garage and I just thank God that the garage door was closed. Did I tell you we had to buy child locks because they are now opening every cabinet door in the house?
Yes, it's the truth!!! But we love them so. Hope the weather is getting warmer where you are.

I just read about Sookie lost...and found...I am so glad you found her. I would also be devastated if I lost my two Devon rescues. My two boys are so nosey...when I come home they are right up against the door and I have to push the door, and them, to just get into the house! My greatest fear is that they will dart out one day. My other cats we had from kittens on and we made them afraid of the doors to go out (I know, I know...but I did not want them dashing out the doors.) However, my two new rescues really aren't afraid of anything and since they are 6 years old I will not be able to condition them to fear the outside doors. But most importantly, a belated congratulations on finding your dear one.

Thanks for replying. Have you had Sookie since she was very young? We rescued our devon (Lester) a year ago from the RSPCA. I didn't even know what a devon was until we had him! Unfortunately, we don't know how old he is. All we know is he is a young adult. He seems quite young to me, but that may be because he is quite small. He is very playful, but I don't know if that's because devon's are generally? Anyway, would love to hear more about Sookie if you get chance!
